THE NO. 4 FOLDING KODAK

Last model produced in 1895 only, of the 4x5 format No. 4 Folding Kodak having a sliding focusing movement and an improved lens standard with adjustment clamps.

This example is equipped with a Bausch & Lomb Iris Diaphragm Shutter and an Eastman roll holder.  Unlike the other models in Eastman's Folding Kodak (satchel series), the No. 4 was built to use roll film only. 

Approximately 3,750 No. 4 Folding Kodaks were produced from 1890 to 1897.
